TRACK IS BACK - Adelaide Track League Set to Light Up the Adelaide Super-Drome with the biggest edition yet in 2024.

Adelaide Track League is firing up for another edition on Friday the 19th of January, with a loaded night of cycling action. Founded in 2020, the Adelaide Track League’s gearing up for its biggest ever event during Australia’s premiere festival of cycling at the Santos Tour Down Under.

There’s a long list of domestic and international talent punching their tickets to the Adelaide Super-Drome where fans will pack the stadium to enjoy 4 hours of thrilling oval racing accompanied by a suite of food and drink options.

Located just 15 minutes from the heart of the CBD, the Adelaide Super-Drome will once again play host to Adelaide Track League. The hallowed wooden boards of the Adelaide Super-Drome are home to generations of the Australian Cycling Team who will be out in force representing the Green & Gold.

The Adelaide Super-Drome is an indoor oasis for Santos Tour Down Under enthusiasts to enjoy bike racing free from the January sun and heat. Friday 19 Jan will see the Santos Tour Down Under race within along the Fleurieu Peninsula, letting fans stick closer to the city during the day and heading to the Super-Drome for the evening.

The January event already has a stacked lineup of local and international track stars locked in. Adelaide Track League has always been spoilt with talent, but 2024 is set to feature World Tour road talent, track World Champions, and Olympic medallists. Quality domestic and international talent will converge on Adelaide to literally rub shoulders and elbows with their big-name competition and entertain the packed-in fans.

Adelaide Track League Event Director Lachie Ambrose expects 2024 to be the biggest edition yet.

“Since we started TL in 2020 it’s been really enjoyable to watch it grow, both in recognition of its place in the cycling calendar, and our event delivery. We’re looking forward to seeing huge crowds at the Super-Drome to support the best Aussie Track Cyclists as they start the final leg of their journey towards the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.”

You don’t need to be a year-round cycling fan to enjoy track league either, Mr Ambrose explains “Adelaide Track League aims to be a great event first and foremost so anyone looking for a fun night out can come along and enjoy. We make sure there’s food, drink, and live DJs to accompany the on-track action. The schedule is packed too, treating fans to the most bike racing racing in the 4-hour run time.”

Ticket holders are in for a gastronomical treat courtesy of some of Adelaide’s best food trucks. Parched punters can choose from beers by Big Shed Brewing, wines from Alpha Box & Dice, gin and tonics from Prohibition Liquor, and non-alcoholic soft drinks from Mischief Brew.
