The BMX National Championships are the premier event on the Australian BMX calendar, bringing together riders from 5 years of age to over 60. The event will see representatives from all states and territories travel to take part in the Championships, which are always viewed as a highlight of the year for BMX riders.

The 2022 AusCycling BMX Racing National Championships are proudly supported by Events Tasmania and the City of Launceston.
The 2021 AusCycling BMX Racing National Championships are proudly supported by Major Events Gold Coast.
The BMX National Championships have been running annually since 1980 and prior to 2021 were delivered by BMX Australia. The BMX National Championships are hosted by AusCycling in conjunction with Host Clubs, at a venue of AusCycling’s selection each year. The venue rights will be awarded as per a bidding process, where parties must submit a bid fulfilling the requirements specified by AusCycling. The National Championships are run as UCI events.
