Officials | Maintenance of Accreditation and Re-Accreditation

In order to maintain an AusCycling Commissaire or BMX Official Accreditation, it is necessary to keep your accreditation requirements updated including:

AusCycling Membership

You must maintain an AusCycling membership of Non-Riding or above

Working With Children Check (WWCC) or Equivalent 

All Commissaires and BMX Officials must have a Working With Children Check (or equivalent). unless you are in Western Australia and not working with Children.

Re-Accreditation

An AusCycling Commissaire or BMX Club Official accreditation is valid for four (4) years. To re-accredit follow these steps:

BMX Club Official: Complete the BMX Officials Course to re-accredit.

Please note you will require a current Working With Children Check or equivalent to be uploaded during this process.

If not previously completed a course on EtrainU 

 

Click here if you have undertaken the BMX Officials Course or another course on etrainu

AusCycling Regional Commissaire Course: must complete the theory component of the Regional Commissaire Course.

Please note you will require a current Working With Children Check or equivalent to be uploaded during this process.

Please note for Road and Track the Regional 1 course is only required to be completed.

 

 

Complete the AusCycling Regional Commissaire Re-Accreditation Course. Please note that there is a different link depending on the discipline you are seeking to re-accredit.

Please note once you have completed the theory component please email [email protected] in order to finalise the re-accreditation. 

BMX RACING

BMX Racing: if not previously completed a course on EtrainU 

MOUNTAIN BIKE

Mountain Bike: if not previously completed a course on EtrainU

ROAD

Road: if not previously completed a course on EtrainU

TRACK

Track: if not previously completed a course on EtrainU 

CYCLO-CROSS

Cyclo-cross: if not previously completed a course on EtrainU

AusCycling National Commissaire and BMX Freestyle Judge

Must pass the UCI National Commissaire Course (E-learning only).

All re-accreditations must complete the following courses:

  • Sport Integrity Australia Competition Manipulation and Gambling
  • Safe Guarding in Sport Induction
  • Anti-Doping Fundamentals

4UCI Elite National Commissaire: re-accreditation is maintained by UCI Policies. 

All re-accreditations must complete the following courses:

  • Sport Integrity Australia Competition Manipulation and Gambling
  • Safe Guarding in Sport Induction
  • Anti-Doping Fundamentals

5UCI Commissaire and BMX Freestyle Judge: re-accreditation is maintained by UCI Policies.

All UCI Commissaires must complete the following courses:

  • Sport Integrity Australia Competition Manipulation and Gambling
  • Safe Guarding in Sport Induction
  • Anti-Doping Fundamentals

Please note that once a Commissaire reaches the maximum age limit as a UCI Commissaire they will be recognised as a National Commissaire.
