The BMX National Cup is a series of rounds that are held throughout the year, that count towards the overall BMX National Cup Series.
Information on the rounds of the 2021 BMX National Cup, are outlined below.
The AusCycling BMX National Cup is a series of events where riders can earn points in Platinum, Gold and Silver events. Series events can start on 1 January and lasts until the AusCycling National BMX Championships.
Note: Bronze level events do not form part of the National Cup Series.
The AusCycling BMX National Cup Series is designed to provide a clear progression pathway from State/Territory competition to the National level.
The BMX National Cup will build momentum by leading through State/Territory and National events to State/Territory Championships and culminate in the AusCycling National BMX Championships.
The AusCycling BMX National Cup Series includes races from across Australia including State/Territory Series, State/Territory Championships, National Cup Rounds and the AusCycling National BMX Championships.
The AusCycling BMX National Cup Competition points will be awarded based on the overall finishing place within each round multiplied by the value of the round.
Due to the change in the schedule and reduction of events as a result of the evolving Covid-19 situation, border closures and government restrictions, the following format will take effect for the 2021 BMX National Cup Series:

Note: In the event that there are cancellations to any upcoming National/State/Territory events, which make up the National Cup Series, this position may be reviewed and altered.
The National Cup Series awards will be presented during the BMX National Championships, with the Championships presentation for the same category (Friday, 10 December to Sunday, 12 December).
In the event that the National Championships and remaining two (2) rounds of the National Cup are not able to be conducted, then there will be no BMX National Cup Series awarded for 2021.
The Mighty 11's Team Qualifiers #2 will be held during the BMX National Cup round on Sunday, 5 December 2021.
Any rider, 11 years old on October 20th 2021, who has entered and competed in their normal 20" race category can be considered.
The four male and female riders with the fastest single lap time from the motos on Sunday, 5 December 2021, will be selected as members of the team.
The announcement and presentation will take place during the BMX National Championships Opening Ceremony on Friday, 10 December 2021.
