It was a roller-coaster weekend for Rebecca Henderson (Primaflor Mondraker Genuins) at the Snowshoe round of the UCI Mountain Bike World Series.

The Australian champion would finish third in the XCC, her first podium of the year, behind winner Evie Richards (Trek Factory Racing) at the West Virgina venue.

Despite a strong start on the front of the grid in the XCO, a mechanical on the third lap would see the Canberran drop back to 25th.

Henderson would fight her way back to finish in 16th place more than three minutes behind Austrian Laura Stigger (Specialized Factory Racing).

Zoe Cuthbert would record two top 20 finishes in the U23 XC races while Sam Fox (Lapierre Mavic Unity) would finish one lap down in 68th in the elite men.

In the downhill, Sian A’hern (YT Mob) made her second World Cup final in the elite women to finish ninth after her run.

While Troy Brosnan (Canyon CLLCTV Factory Racing) and Jackson Connelly (Team High Country) were the only Aussies to make it through to the elite mens finals.

They would finish 13th and 25th respectively.
