2024 BMX Racing National Training Session, January 6

AusCycling are offering elite and under-23 BMX riders the chance to prepare themselves for the upcoming World Cups and Oceania Championships at Sleeman BMX Supercross Track.

At the training sessions, riders will participate in a set training schedule that includes gate starts and full laps off the 8-metre hill.

Data collected from these sessions will be compared against UCI BMX Racing World Cup benchmarks. 

Under-19 riders who intend to race in UCI BMX Racing World Cups are also welcome to attend. 

Provisional schedule for the training sessions at Sleeman BMX Supercross Track in Brisbane is below. 

January- 6^th 13^th and 20^th 

• 9:00am - Registration and transponder check
• 9:30am - Practice with gates
• 10:30am - 6 first straight efforts  
• 11:30am - 3 full lap efforts

Please note, coaches will spread the morning session out to allow for further feedback and longer rest breaks where required.

Private coaches are welcome to attend but will not have 8m hill access.

Riders who have not competed off an 8m hill prior to these sessions or riders seeking competency evidence should notify the coaching staff prior to the start of the session.
