The picture is now complete: plan your upcoming mountain bike season with the release of AusCycling's 2027 State & Territory MTB Calendar.
Following the publication of the national calendar last month, today's announcement adds over 60 state- and territory-level mountain bike events to the schedule.
Whether you race downhill, enduro, cross-country or all of the above, you'll find AusCycling events to suit you. From State and Territory Series and Championships to interschool events and long-distance challenges, there's a mountain bike event with your name on it.
Whatever your discipline, State and Territory Series form the backbone of your mountain bike season. There's the WA Gravity Enduro Series out west, the Victorian Downhill Series across five rounds, or the NSW/ACT XCO Series across a variety of terrain, for example. Let your chosen competition give you consistent race days to target: find a State Series near you.
For many, the State and Territory Championships will be your 'A-event' of 2027. You'll want to dial in your set-up, taper your training and get yourself ready for one of the biggest race days of the season. Discover your State or Territory Championships in 2027 (Queensland cross-country date to be confirmed).
While no state-level events are listed for South Australia and the Northern Territory, you can find club events near you by contacting your local club: Find a Club here.
Beyond these, there's a host of fantastic events to pencil into your schedule. To highlight but a few: take on the thrilling Cannonball MTB Festival in Thredbo; consider the iconic Noosa Enduro; or push your limits at the C-Wise Dwellingup 100 marathon MTB race.
And don't forget the national events previously announced, including the XCO and Downhill National Series – now with UCI Continental Series status confirmed at Awaba and Mt Stromlo.
With all that's said, go ahead and check out the 2027 State & Territory MTB Calendar to plan your season now!
