2027 AusCycling Downhill National Series – Round 3

Australia’s downhill riders take on Awaba for Round 3

The 2027 AusCycling Downhill National Series rolls into Awaba MTB Park in New South Wales for Round 3 from Friday 2 to Sunday 4 April.

Hosted by Hunter Mountain Bike Association, the weekend brings riders from across Australia together on one of the country’s most challenging downhill tracks.

Awaba’s steep and technical terrain provides a serious test of line choice, control and outright speed as riders chase valuable ranking points and strengthen their positions in the overall Series standings.

With just one round remaining after Awaba, expect fast racing and high stakes as the contest for the Series title heats up.

Entries open on Wednesday 6 January 2027 and close on Wednesday 31 March 2027.

Age Categories & Eligibility

Riders for the Elite, Junior, Unders (15 & 17) and Masters age categories must meet the criteria below.

  • Born on or before 01/01/2014. Minimum 13 years old as at 31/12/2027. Riding up is not permitted.
  • Hold a current and valid AusCycling Race membership.

Eligibility AusCycling Race membership is required to enter this event. Get a Race membership
