The Mountain Bike National series is the pinnacle series for both Downhill (DHI) and Cross-Country (XCO) Mountain Biking in Australia. The MTB National Series provides racing that serves a critical part of the development pathway for the emerging elite, as well as driving participation and awareness of MTB racing. The series includes 7 rounds of XCO (across three venues) and 4 rounds of DHI, with competition categories including J15, J17, J19, U23/Elite and Masters. Individual events will also feature additional categories such as E-Bike, Adaptive and Expert. Many rounds will also offer J11 and J13 racing.

Series Qualification
Riders do not have to compete in a minimum number of events to qualify to appear in the Series Standings.
Eligibility Criteria
All riders must hold a current AusCycling Race Off Road or Race All Discipline Membership.
Riders must enter their age category based on their age by 31 December 2025.
International riders with a UCI Licence from a National Federation are also eligible.
Riders who do not hold a current, valid membership are able to enter non-series categories provided they hold a valid AusCycling Event Licence.
