90 years celebrated for Hamilton Wheelers member with a roll around the track

A Brisbane club cycling member has celebrated his birthday with a special lap of honor thanks to his club.

Mick Wilkinson, who turned 90 recently, was treated to a lap of the Nundah crit track along with fellow members of the Hamilton Wheelers Cycling Club to acknowledge the milestone.

Mick has been a member of the club for 67 years and held nearly every club committee position over the years.

He doesn’t only just compete on the bike at the local races, but the nonagenarian also holds a Level 2 Road and Track Commissaire accreditation.
