VIDEO: How Hawthorn Cycling Club is growing female participation

With its first female president at the helm, Hawthorn Cycling Club is leading the way in growing female participation in the sport.

Jen Szuster recently took the reins as president, saying the club has an inclusive and supportive culture that makes it inviting for women to participate.

The club has a number of women’s specific programs and initiatives aimed at building safety, skills and confidence on the bike, as well as many social events off the bike.
