Policy review: UCI World Championships
AusCycling is currently reviewing its Selection Policy for UCI World Championships. Initially, the review was to be completed by March 2025. However, due to the need to undertake a further in-depth review of our junior selection criteria, the new selection policy will now be implemented from 2026 onwards.

Therefore, selections for 2025 UCI World Championships will be made according to AusCycling’s existing Selection Policy for UCI World Championships and associated discipline specific criteria.
The discipline-specific selection criteria for 2025 UCI World Championships are being progressively released from March 2025 onwards. They will be published below under the heading ‘Selection Criteria’.
