Ollie Sims wins Q Tour, Bleddyn secures PSL overall

Oliver Sims wins stage 3 of the 2026 Q Tour part of the ProVelo Super League

Olympic gold medallist Oliver Bleddyn (Team Brennan) has added a major accolade to his road palmarès, winning the 2026 ProVelo Super League Let's Go Motorhomes Men's League.

The South Australian finished second overall in the Q Tour to Tasmania's Oliver Sims (Cobra9 x Leigh Surveyors), who broke away at the end of an attritional Queen's Stage to take the GC win.

Bleddyn began the three-stage Q Tour with a healthy lead on the league leaderboard, but there were still plenty of prizes up for grabs in the 2026 finale.

Cornish was untouchable in the Stage 1 bunch sprint.

Stage 1 at the Lakeside Raceway was always likely to end in a bunch sprint, and the powerful teams of VIS p/b K.O.M.P, Team Brennan and CCACHE X BODYWRAP ensured that result. Once the sprint opened up, it was clear nobody would deny track superstar Tom Cornish his second win of the PSL season. In second, with an impressive turn of speed, was 17-year-old Alistair Forsyth (VIS p/b K.O.M.P).

Stage 2, a criterium at Brisbane International Cycle Park, was disrupted with three laps to go when a large crash forced a brief neutralisation. Racing resumed with Team Brennan immediately taking control at the front, setting up for Cornish. They were challenged by CCACHE X BODYWRAP in the final corner, with Cornish leading the field through the turn.

He crossed the line first, but was later relegated for contact with Oscar Gallagher in the final corner. As a result, Forsyth, who had again finished second on the road, was awarded his first PSL stage win and moved into the race leader's jersey.

The general classification was still to be decided on Stage 3, the Moreton Bay Hinterland Queen's Stage, over six laps of a challenging circuit made more tricky by wet roads. The race leader, Forsyth, came unstuck on an early descent, crashing out of the race altogether.

An attritional race saw the front group shredded to just 15 riders at the start of the last lap, with a showdown set to take place on the final climb up to the finish.

As the lead group hit the base of the climb, Sims went on the charge. He pushed ahead with a strong attack and incredible pace, while the group behind struggled to respond.

Sims won by one minute to the main group after a tremendous solo attack.

Powering all the way to the line, Sims took a well-earned solo victory in his team’s home round. Thanks to a time gap of nearly one minute to the main group, Sims also secured an impressive GC victory.

With second on GC, Bleddyn did more than enough to secure the overall win in the Let’s Go Motorhomes Men’s League.
