Local racing opportunities during Santos Festival of Cycling

While the Santos Festival of Cycling shows off the best elite cyclists that Australia has to offer, it's not only the pros who get to have their fun! There are a great variety of events on throughout the Festival of Cycling for riders of all abilities. Have a read below about all the options available for the keen racers amongst us, and get ready for a week full of bikes of all disciplines!

22nd January - GESA Downduro - SOLD OUT!

• For lovers of all things off road looking to start their SFOC off with some speedy sends, we have Gravity Enduro South Australia's Downduro event! With an extra emphasis on the "down," you will be taking in all the best trails at the newly reborn Fox Creek Mountainbike Park. Entries open Jan 2, and this one's tickets are bound to sell out. 22nd January - BMX National Cup - ENTRIES CLOSE JAN 16

• Kicking off the national cup in style, at a newly minted (and soon to be announced!) BMX venue, We have the first round of the BMX national Cup! More details to come soon, but BMX'ers get keen! This will be a great spectator event so even if you arent racing, get down and check out what is going on!

27th January - Roller Frenzy X PACC

• Due to the change in dates and location of the SFOC village, PACC are currently finding a new venue for Roller Frenzy, so stay tuned for updates through PACC's socials.

28th January - AMBCxSFOC Summer XCC - ENTRIES OPEN NOW

• Full gas, flat out XCC racing! The amphitheatre left by the old quarry at Eagle Mountain Bike Park makes the perfect event space, and in 2022, the Adelaide Mountain Bike Club (AMBC) Cross-Country Short Track race returns for another round after last year's success! Racing up steep climbs, and down technical descents on a short lap so spectators can catch them multiple times throughout the race. The evening will be loads of fun, with high energy and a great atmosphere in a setting overlooking metropolitan Adelaide and the coastline.

29th January - Summer Cross P/B Cervelo Australia - ENTRIES OPEN SOON

• While CX Worlds might be in full swing over in the USA, Port Adelaide Cycling Club are keen to get dusty on the last night of the Santos Festival of Cycling! Expect flat out from start to finish racing, battling it out against your mates, and making some new ones as you race a fast and flowy course which weaves its way through the the trees of the Adelaide parklands. This will be a send off party for the whole Festival of Cycling, so get your favourite party shirt out (or Skinsuit if you want to!), and get ready to send it! Handups are optional, but fun is garuneed!
