Aug 12, 2024

AusCycling is excited to unveil a unique development pathway opportunity for Australia’s emerging mountain biking talents.

As part of the commitment to nurturing the next generation of elite cyclists and coaches, AusCycling is pleased to announce Under 17 and Under 19 female athletes to participate in an international camp at the Coupe du Japan Fukasaka International XCO Race in Shimonoseki City, Japan, from September 28 to September 29, 2024.

The race, a UCI C3 event, will allow athletes to gain pivotal international racing experience as well as offering the Under 19’s the chance to accrue valuable UCI points.

It will also give them the experience of competing at an international race environment and the logistical and cultural aspects of overseas travel and competition.
