Enduro national champions crowned in Collie

Luke Meier-Smith made it a enduro championship double when he took out the elite men's National Championship title in Western Australia on the weekend while an Under 21 rider claimed the elite women's title.

Meier-Smith added the national crown to the Oceania title he won on Thursday, finishing with a 30 second buffer ahead of the next best in Bailey Christie and Cooper Northey in third.

It's the third gravity crown the New South Wales rider has claimed in 2024 after claiming the downhill national championship earlier in the year.

The Taree Tip Rider club member won all six stages to carry himself to a maiden enduro title.

Elle de Nooyer showed she was up to the elite category by taking out the women's title with a scintillating ride posting the fastest overall time 21:15.84 after six stages.

After her win in the Oceania Championships earlier in the week the Queenslander again proved she was a rising in star in the discipline.

The Toowoomba competitor snuck home 1.6 seconds ahead of last year's defending champion Jess Hoskin who claimed the silver while Lacey Adams, another Under 21 rider would finish with the bronze.

In the Under 21 men Christie would be crowned champion over the Apline Cycling Club's Northey, with Tasmania's Sascha Kim in third.

Nooyer was also crowned the under 21 women's champion

Adams took the opening stage but the Toowoomba competitor won four of the six stages and snuck home with the national crown by 15 seconds.

Fellow Queenslander Connor Mielke was in third.

Saturday featured the Adaptive riders with Patrick Best claiming back to back national championship victories.

While West Aussie Jordan Prochyra enjoyed the home trail advantage to take out the E-Enduro elite men title.

Jordan Prochyra won elite men e-enduro championships.

Ellie Smith, the current elite women's downhill champion, added the E-Enduro women's crown to her victories in 2024.

Ellie Smith claimed the elite women e-enduro national title.
