The event has extra sparkle with some of Australia’s brightest stars set to shine in front of an enthusiastic local crowd.
Elite XCO National Champion Cameron Ivory is aiming to close the gap in the overall standings as he battles series leader Jack Ward and Queensland powerhouse Brent Rees. Ivory, currently third, will look to make the most of his home-ground advantage.
In the Elite Women’s field, Under-23 National Champion Izzy Flint is in scintillating form. Flint is no stranger to the twists and turns of Glenorchy’s trails.
Izzy Flint is gunning for four straight victories this weekend in Glenorchy.
With three straight wins under her belt, she’s keen to extend her streak and solidify her dominance in the series. Racing on familiar turf, she’s set to inspire the next generation of Tasmanian talent.
Speaking of rising stars, all eyes are on Connor Wright in the Junior Men’s category. The young gun from Perth has been unstoppable, racking up two consecutive wins, and his sharp form suggests he’s on track to make it four from four. With his technical prowess and sheer determination, Wright will be hard to beat.
With so much on the line and a field packed with talent, Glenorchy promises to deliver an unforgettable weekend of mountain biking.
Whether you’re a seasoned fan or a curious newcomer, the action, atmosphere, and sheer spectacle are not to be missed.
