Wagga Wagga will host the 2022 AusCycling Marathon National Championships on Saturday 13 & Sunday 14 August 2022. Event will showcase the best parts of Wagga Wagga. The Wagga Wiradjuri Wander is Non-Championship support event for riders who wish to ride the 25km or 50km courses. The course will take riders on a journey with a magnificent network of purpose-built trails and tracks whilst starting and finishing at the new multisport cycling complex at Pomingalarna Reserve.

Wagga Wiradjuri Wander is open to both Individual & Pairs in the following categories - Male, Female & Mixed.

EVENT INFORMATION

Event Entry:

Riders entering the Wagga Wiradjuri Wander Pairs event will need to enter individually. Please have your team members name & your team name on hand prior to entering.

Entries Close:

Online Entries - 10:00am Friday 12 August 2022

  • Saturday - Official Practice & Registration
  • Sunday - Race / Ride

Tentative Schedule Sunday:

Start time - 9:00am

  • Wave 1 - AusCycling Marathon National Championships (75km) - Elite, U19, Expert, Masters 1-6 
  • Wave 2 - AusCycling Marathon National Championships (50km) - U17, Masters 7+
  • Wave 3 - AusCycling Marathon National Championships(25km) - U15
  • Wave 4 - Wagga Wiradjuri Wander (25km / 50km) - Men, Women & Mixed

Riders must hold a valid AusCycling All-Discipline Racing license,  Off-Road Racing license or purchase an AusCycling $35 Day Membership in order to take part in the event. For more information on memberships, please click here
