2025 AusCycling Cyclo-cross State Series - NSW/ACT: Round 1 - Rescheduled!
Round 1 proudly hosted by Central Coast Cycling Club in East Gosford, NSW.

Central Coast Cycling Club is excited to deliver a rescheduled round after the NSW-ACT Cyclocross series May event was rained out. This event is at a new venue in East Gosford, Hylton Moore Park. This park offers some great Cyclocross features with fast descents and challenging climbs. It’s close to parking, amenities, and shops at East Gosford.

Juniors: Kids race (free entry) - kids under 11y/o, any bike welcome, 15 min, shortened course, parents may accompany on course
- U13 and below (May race a modified course)
- U15, U17, U19
Women: A, B & C Grades (Race separately to Men)
Men: A, B & C Grades
Riders need to have a current AusCycling racing license (Off road OR All Discipline) to race. Never raced before? No problem! – you can get a free four-week trial license to race (this includes Juniors).

Only racing Cyclocross? Choose an Offroad license to save money.
Grading guide:
- C = New to bike racing generally / moderate pace or older riders
- B = Any tyre width allowed, Pushing hard and pretty fast, but a broad range of speeds, MTBer’ will be started in a separate wave!
- A = Seasoned, competitive racers and Elites.
Your CX grade should be the same as your road racing or MTB grade. An A-grade rider trying CX for the first time is still probably best suited to A grade, etc.

Race schedule may be subject to change, depending on entries and category participants.
Course Map:
Hylton Moore Park is a mostly grass course, with a number of steep banks and hill at the centre. Tree sections will provide technical features, and fast off camber corners and a creek crossing will challenge traction. The course will be 2km+ per lap.

Directions & Location:
The venue is approximately an hour’s drive from Hornsby in Sydney’s Northwest, and 1hr 20 south of Newcastle.
Hylton Moore Park is a short drive east of Gosford along the Central Coast Highway. Turn left at Althorp Street, East Gosford, and continue along to see the park on the right. Our course will be using the space between the Soccer and AFL grounds.
Parking: There are several car parks at Hylton Moore Park. The best options will be at the end of Althorp Street, or right on Coburg Street.
Accommodation: Coming for the weekend? East Gosford, Erina and Wamberal are close to the event site. Join us for a club ride Saturday morning as well.
