Australia’s elite national road racing competition, the ProVelo Super League (PSL), will return in 2026 with a familiar calendar of races, building on the success and momentum of its debut season.
The launch of the PSL last summer established its status as the “Road to the WorldTour”. Of the 321 athletes from 14 nations who participated, more than a dozen successfully secured opportunities connected to WorldTour teams – including the entire podium of the SBS Women’s League and the champion and runner-up of the SumUp Men’s League.
Spanning 10 weeks, the 2026 season announced today will bring Australian teams into competition against international teams across six high-impact events.
The league will be open to wildcard teams who wish to enter individual events, and individual riders can race the entire season or enter select events.

2025 men's winner Jack Ward has signed a contract with the development team of Lidl-Trek.
“The PSL has quickly established itself as an important platform for rider progression and fan engagement,” said AusCycling CEO Marne Fechner. “We’re excited to see its continued growth and look forward to seeing the next crop of PSL riders showcasing their talent across season two.”
“Season one proved there’s a strong appetite for a modern, broadcast-driven elite road cycling product,” said PSL co-founder Matt Wilson.
“Season two will build on that foundation, refining the racing format, strengthening partnerships with host cities, and creating even greater opportunities for both Australian and international teams, riders and fans.
“We’re fielding strong interest from new teams from here and abroad, and it's pleasing to see that the PSL is stimulating new investment and participation at the elite end.

“We think the season two calendar presents an enhanced program with some challenging new stages across the tours, and we’re excited to be providing a platform for our teams and riders to launch the season on the final weekend of the Santos Tour Down Under.”
The ProVelo Super League is proudly sanctioned by AusCycling and continues to collaborate closely with the national body, ensuring strong alignment with national competition frameworks and athlete development pathways.
