Podiums aplenty at Haute-Savoie Enduro World Cup

Three Australians would land on the podium at the recent Enduro World Cup round in Combloux, Huate-Savoie region of the French Alps.

With a break between downhill rounds, Luke Meier-Smith (Giant Factory Off-Road Team) threw himself into the mix across the six enduro stages in the French Alps.

The New South Welshman would top two stages and record a third place to leave him in second behind eventual winner Richie Rude (Yeti/Fox Factory Race Team).

Luke Meier-Smith finished second at the Combloux round of the Enduro World Cup.

Jack Moir (YT Mob) had a resurgence with a Stage 5 win and two other top 4 places to see him fifth overall four places ahead of Daniel Booker the third Aussie to feature in the top 10.

In the Under 21’s, Bailey Christie (Theory Racing) continues to show his consistency on course. The West Australian finishing top four in all but two of the stages which saw him collect the bronze behind Adam Maxa.

Bailey Christie finished third in the U21 World Cup Enduro in Combloux, France.

Meanwhile Ryan Gilchrist (Yeti/Fox Factory Race Team) regained the overall leader's jersey in the E-enduro after a hard fought 10 stage race in the challenging Alpine terrain.

Ryan Gilchrist would win two stages of the Combloux World Cup Enduro round to regain overall leaders jersey.

Gilchrist would take out Stage 9 and 10 which saw him secure the third place podium spot.

He now has a mere 24 point lead when the UCI Enduro & E-Enduro World Cup returns in mid-July
