Nominations for 2026 Life Membership and Meretorious Medal open

AusCycling is now calling for nominations for Life Membership and Meritorious Medals for 2026.

Life Membership is the highest honour which can be bestowed by AusCycling to a current or past member.

It is awarded to recognise eminent achievement and merit to a person who has rendered distinguished or significant contributions to the success, reputation, or positive standing of cycling across Australia.

Past Life Membership inductees included BMX's Sam Willoughby, Tour de France winner Cadel Evans (AM) and mountain bike trail builder Glen Jacobs.

While Meritorious Medals have been awarded to five-time Olympian Shane Kelly (OAM), BMX World Champion Caroline Buchanan and Armidale Cycling Club's Jock Bullen for their service or sustained outstanding performance.
