BikeSportz renews its support of Australian cycling until 2027

BikeSportz, a leading name in the Australian bicycle industry, is building upon its longstanding support of the sport through a renewed and enhanced partnership with AusCycling.

After first coming together in 2021, AusCycling and BikeSportz have today announced a renewal of their partnership until the end of 2027.

BikeSportz is Australia’s leading importer and distributor of premium cycling brands that support riders across all disciplines. Their portfolio includes Santini performance cycling apparel, BBB Cycling parts and accessories, and Northwave footwear, supported by BikeChain, an expert online retail partner helping riders nationwide access the right gear.

As it has done over previous seasons, BikeSportz will support the development of Australian cycling by providing prizes across AusCycling’s junior state and territory road events.

BikeSportz brands will continue to feature prominently in connection with these series, which are crucial for the development of young riders across the nation.

In addition, Michelin will become the official tyre partner of the GWM Mountain Bike National Championships and the AusCycling Mountain Bike National Series in 2026 and 2027.

Kipp Kaufmann, AusCycling’s Executive General Manager of Club and Community Enhancement, welcomed the partnership renewal.

“The long-term support of BikeSportz has been highly valuable for the development of Australian cycling, especially for young and up-and-coming athletes,” Kaufmann said.

“We’re delighted that BikeSportz has renewed its partnership with AusCycling, not only continuing its support of junior road cycling, but also expanding its support to our mountain bike community.”

BikeSportz director David Cramer said: "Renewing our partnership with AusCycling reflects how we see our role in the industry, supporting grassroots participation and backing the future of cycling in Australia.

"As a distributor, our responsibility goes beyond supplying product. We work closely with brands, retailers and the broader cycling community, and we believe in investing back into the pathways that develop riders at every level.

"Supporting AusCycling is part of that long-term commitment. It’s about helping create opportunities for young athletes, strengthening the base of the sport, and contributing in a practical way to the growth of cycling in Australia."
