Four Australian track sprinters will race in Japan this month across three UCI events.

The joint ARA Australian Cycling Team and AusCycling pathways group will race at Japan Track Cup I and II (UCI C1) from May 14–17, followed by a halved effort at the JICF International Track Cup (UCI C2) on May 23–24.

Molly McGill and Liliya Tatarinoff will don the green-and-gold at the Japan Track Cups, joined by Tayte Ryan in South Australian Sports Institute (SASI) colours and Deneaka Blinco in the maroon of Queensland Academy of the Sport (QAS).

Tatarinoff and Blinco will stay on in Japan for the JICF International Track Cup weekend.

The annual Japan Track Cup double-header is held at Izu Velodrome, the home of Tokyo 2020's Olympic track cycling, while the 12th JICF International Track Cup will be held at Tipstar Dome Chiba.

A four-rider squad from Australian UCI Continental Team CCACHE x BODYWRAP will also be amongst the field in Izu.

ARA Australian Cycling Team regular Liam Walsh and SASI's Odette Lynch are the two Aussies in that squad.
