Australia’s BMX Freestyle talent continues to impress on the world stage, bringing home a haul of medals from competitions across Europe over the past month.
Among the Australians competing were four emerging BMX Freestyle riders - Alirah Norris, Kayla McCormick, Koby Carroll and Brodie Quick - who took part in a two-week AusCycling development camp (pictured above).

The young riders trained and competed alongside some of Australia’s best, with Sarah Nicki, Natalya Diehm, Samual Grace, Norris and McCormick all tasting success across events in Barcelona, Brussels and Paris.
Nicki claimed silver at the Extreme Barcelona BMX Freestyle event, where Grace also secured bronze.
Natalya Diehm won silver at the Brussels Urban Sessions earlier this month.
At the fifth edition of Brussels Urban Sessions at Parc du Cinquantenaire, Paris Olympic bronze medallist Diehm impressed to take silver.
Just off the podium in fourth was 16-year-old Norris, who showcased her control and creativity in the park, winning the event’s Best Trick competition.

The Australians continued their medal-winning run in Paris at Round 6 of the French Cup, with an all-Australian podium in the elite women’s competition.

Nicki took gold, McCormick claimed silver and Norris rounded out the podium with bronze.
