Sep 23, 2022

The UCI has confirmd the venues for the UCI Gravel World Championships over the next four years during its recent management meeting in Wollongong.

Nannup in Western Australia has been awarded the UCI Gravel World Championships in 2026.

The city hosted the Seven event in May earlier in the year and it will also remain a qualifier in the Trek UCI Gravel World Series in 2023.

AusCycling CEO Marne Fechner, who attended the 2022 UCI Congress where the 2026 Gravel world championships venue was announced, said Australia is becoming well known as a world class cycling host.

“We look forward to once again in such a short space of time welcoming riders, spectators and officials from across the world to this magical part of the country, Nannup, Western Australia."

The very first UCI Gravel World Championships will take place in two weeks in Vicenza and Cittadella in Italy.
