AusCycling Technical Commission and Technical Delegates EOI

AusCycling is now seeking expressions of interest from individuals for the role of Regional Technical Delegate and to be part of the National Technical Committee.

The AusCycling Regional Technical Delegate is a voluntary role with expenses and per diem provided (on race day appointments only).

This role is responsible for supporting the Technical components of races within the discipline (BMX Racing, BMX Freestyle, CX, MTB, Para-cycling, Road & Track) of their expertise.

The number of appointments will be based on number of races (demand), individual expertise and expertise of local management in the disciplines.

National Technical Commission

AusCycling is also seeking to establish a National Technical Committee which will be composed of not less than 7 members:

• 1 Chair,
• a minimum of two (2) with Road, Track, Para-cycling and/or Esport Cycling expertise,
• a minimum of two (2) with BMX Racing or BMX Freestyle expertise,
• a minimum of 2 with Mountain Bike and/or Cyclo-cross expertise,
• and no more than nine (9) appointed in total.

The membership should have consideration for expertise in the disciplines of BMX Freestyle, BMX Racing, Cyclo-Cross, ESport Cycling, Mountain Bike, Para-Cycling, Road, and Track.

Please note the former Chairs of the BMXA, CA and MTBA Committee/Commissions will assume three (3) of the memberships of the Committee as part of the transition.
