ARA Australian Cycling Team Enduro squad confirmed for MTB Worlds

Jul 15, 2025

AusCycling has confirmed the Enduro squad selected to represent the ARA Australian Cycling Team at the 2025 UCI Mountain Bike World Championships in Valais, Switzerland.

The team announced by the AusCycling National Selection Panel, includes seven elite men and one junior woman.

With two wins from six rounds of the WHOOP Mountain Bike Enduro World Cup Daniel Booker will be quietly confident going into the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships in just under two months.

The Tasmanian is currently fourth overall in the standings after securing victories at the World Cup rounds in Pietra Ligure in Italy and Loudenville in France. Booker finished fourth at last year’s UCI Mountain Bike Enduro World Championships in Val di Fassa, Italy.

After missing last year’s world championships Jack Moir gets his chance to go for the rainbow jersey.

The Novocastrian has missed the last two rounds of the WHOOP World Cup Series after sustaining a foot injury during training.

Bailey Christe makes the jump into the elite category for this year's World Championship.

The West Australian best result so far this season is a ninth placing at the opening round of the WHOOP World Cup in Pietra Ligure.

Thomas Locke will make his second appearance in the Australian team kit while despite his selection, Jarrah Street has chosen not to compete at the championships.

Ryan Gilchrist takes on the best around the globe in the e-enduro race. The New South Welshman just missed the podium last year, finishing fourth.

For the women Lacey Adams will certainly be a heavy favorite for the gold in Switzerland.

The Tasmanian has been in a purple patch of form this season with three wins and currently leads the overall World Cup series rankings.

The enduro races will be held from August 30 to September 1st at Aletsch Arena and Bellward.
