Adelaide ready for the next two rounds of CX action
Jun 2, 2023
Cyclo-cross series returns to Adelaide for Rounds 3 and 4 of the 2023 AusCycling Cyclo-cross National Series this weekend at the Adelaide Super-Drome.
After dominating the opening two rounds over in Perth, Rebecca Locke will be out to keep her unblemished record in tact when she lines up in a stacked elite women's field.
The current national champion will again have to stave off the pressure from Fiona Morris, who finished second in Perth along with local Port Adelaide Cycling Club members Natalie Redmond and Anna Kublis who will make their first appearance in the series.
In the elite men a field of 15 will take to the start line on Saturday and there will be a new men's winner crowned with Tristan Nash not on the entry list.
However that will leave Christopher Aitken and Garry Millburn to add to their podiums last month in the opening two rounds.
It will also see the green and gold kit in the race for the first time with reigning champion Tom Chapman ready to make his presence felt in the field.
Juniors and age categories will also be racing from 10am.
