Bigger and better Gravel National Championships return to Ponderosa Pines for 2026

Yeehaw! The 2026 Gravel National Championships are returning to Mt Crawford in South Australia for the second year as part of the Ponderosa Pines Gravel Race.

This year's championships will be bigger and better than before with racing held across an action-packed two days on May 30-31, so saddle up partner.

Following rider feedback, the race schedule for 2026 will be split across two days with separate days for women's and men's racing.

Elite women will race for green and gold glory on Saturday May 30, while the men's battle for the national titles will be held on Sunday, May 31.

The course for elite women has also been increased and will this year be raced across 125km (2 and a half laps of the full course).

This year's event will again offer racing options for para/adaptive riders, U17 and U15 riders, masters categories, as well as a 50km 'ramble' route for recreational riders.

But the racing doesn't stop there.

As part of the Ponderosa Pines Gravel Race, there will also be all-in Men's Dirt Crit at the event village for a bit of fun before their Championship race on Sunday morning, and a Women's Dirt Crit on Sunday scheduled around the Men's Championships.

Entries are now open. Receive an early bird 20% discount until the end of February.
