Seven Australians leave Nannup this weekend as world champions after conquering the steep climbs, muddy descents and spectacularly challenging trails of the 2026 UCI Gravel World Championships.
Making the most of the home advantage, Australia comprehensively topped the medal tally with 21 podium places − seven gold, nine silver, five bronze − in a brilliant celebration of Aussie gravel riding.
Toni Deutzmann, Deborah Latouf and Sharon Heap won rainbow jerseys in the women's age group categories, while Tim Jamieson, Paul Miller, Roger Cull and Myles Higgins traded green-and-gold for rainbow stripes in the men's.
