The 2026/27 AusCycling track calendar has been released today, with racing opportunities on offer from July through to April at international, national, state and club levels across the country.

The 2027 AusCycling Track National Championships program will once again bring the curtain down on the season at Brisbane's Anna Meares Velodrome, starting with the elite, under-19 and para cycling racing week from March 2–6.

The masters and junior portion of the program follows, with Masters TrackNats to be held from March 18–21 and Junior TrackNats from April 3–6.

The popular Quest Ivanhoe 129th Austral Wheelrace will be another December must-see and must-do in Melbourne. The premier Saturday Austral program will be held on December 19 as the fifth and final day of an electric week of racing that begins on December 15.

The 2026 AusCycling Omnium National Championships will be held on the Friday of Austral week (December 18) and the 2026 AusCycling Madison National Championships on Saturday night (December 19).

Other events taking place over the Austral week on Joe Ciavola Velodrome at Darebin International Sports Centre (DISC) will be UCI C1 Sprint and Keirin events, UCI C2 Scratch Race, Points Race and Para Cycling events.

The 2027 Oceania Track Championships are set to be hosted in Australia from February 16–20. Venues are currently being evaluated before a host velodrome is finalised.

The 2026/27 Australian Junior Track Series hits the boards of Perth for Round 1 (including U17 Omnium National Championships and U15 Elimination Race National Championships) on November 14–15 as a double act weekend at the SpeedDome, with the Westral Wheelrace carnival to be held on the same weekend.

Round 2 (including U17 Madison National Championships) lands in Adelaide on January 16–17 around Tour Down Under mania before the series concludes in Sydney at Dunc Gray Velodrome on February 6–7 for Round 3 (including U17 Elimination Race National Championships and U15 Omnium National Championships).

The Blackline Track League is back for a third year, providing valuable racing opportunities in the first half of the track season via a three-round series.

Round 1 will be held on September 26–27 at Dunc Gray Velodrome, Round 2 at Joe Ciavola Velodrome (DISC) on October 17–18 and Round 3 on November 28–29 at Adelaide Super-Drome.

Alongside numerous state and club level events across Australia, several long-running historic events feature, including holiday time racing at either the TasCarnivals or Victorian Christmas carnivals, the Westral Wheelrace, Adelaide Track League, the Bundaberg Track Spectacular and the 89th Melbourne Cup on Wheels.
