2025 gravel national calendar confirmed

For the first time, the Ponderosa Pines will host the 2025 AusCycling Gravel National Championships which will be held in South Australia, as part of the release of the 2025 national calendar

The country’s leading gravel riders will descend on the Mt Crawford Forest, which includes the famous Kidman Trail on April 26 to contest the National Championships. 

We again see world-class gravel events as part of the 2025 Australian calendar. 

The Trek UCI Gravel World Series this time will be contested in three venues across Australia this year. 

Devil’s Cardigan at Derby, Tasmania on the 10th of May will be the first port of call before rider’s head to Western Australia a week later to compete in SEVEN at Nannup,Western Australia, before the third World Series race is to be held in Seymour, Victoria as part of Gravelista on October 25.  

Other big gravel events for the season include RDL GRVL, part of the Santos Tour Down Under festival on January 24 in South Australia. 

This year will see a new beginner and family friendly 35km Green Vineyard Course through McLaren Vale, and the same stunningly beautiful and challenging 128km through Adelaide Hills. 

A full season of gravel will include the Noosa Gravel Enduro located in the idyllic Queensland town on the Sunshine Coast, Gravel and Granite in NSW which will also host Thunderbolts Adventure in Gloucester in April, Marys Mayhem at Mudgee in August and Clarkes Gambit - Nelligen in November.

There will be a number of well-known races in Victoria including the Dirty Warrny, Dirty Docker, Beechworth Granite Classic, Gravel Giro in Marysville, as well as the Ballarat Cycling Classic – Gravel Grind. 

For the third straight year the Backroads Gravel is one of the biggest cycling events on the Western Australian calendar in August.  Ballidu Gravel will also join the AusCycling calendar for the first time. 

Tasmania and Queensland will see the introduction of their first Gravel State Championships in 2025.
