Opportunity for CX riders to attend training camp at UCI World Cycling Centre in Aigle

AusCycling is calling for expressions of interest from CX riders aged 16-20 to attend the 2024 UCI Cyclo-cross Training Camp.

The camp will be held from Tuesday 8th to Sunday 13th October 2024 at the UCI World Cycling Centre in Aigle, Switzerland.

The 2024 training camp will focus on the physical, technical, mental, and organisational aspects of competitive Cyclo-cross and is open to athletes who have already participated in regional or national cyclo-cross races (at a minimum).

Athletes attending will also have the opportunity to participate in a national cyclo-cross race in Aigle at the end of the camp.

Camp inclusions funded by the UCI:

• High level coaching from the UCI Cyclo-cross coaches Edward COLLINS (GBR) and Eva LECHNER (ITA).

• Use of the facilities at the UCI World Cycling Centre campus (including the cyclo-cross course used for several past World Cups and for the upcoming competition).

• Full-board and accommodation at Mon Séjour in dormitories, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the UCI World Cycling Centre’s Velodrome restaurant.

Athletes selected by the UCI will be solely responsible for organising and paying for their own travel to the camp.
