We are coming to the end of winter and a bunch of racing series are hitting crunch time.

The 2022 AusCycling Cyclo-Cross National Series double-header decider will be on for young and old in Ballarat this weekend. It is the penultimate major CX stop of the year before the 2022 AusCycling Cyclo-cross National Championships at GreenValleys Mountain Bike Park in Tongarra, New South Wales on September 17.
Wagga Wagga will host the 2022 AusCycling Marathon National Championships from August 13-14 in a showcase of the best parts of Wagga Wagga. The course will take riders on a journey through the region with a magnificent network of purpose-built trails and tracks whilst starting and finishing at the new multi-sport cycling complex at Pomingalarna Reserve.
The first national rounds in the Northern Territory for three years will take place at the freshly renovated Red Centre BMX, with the upcoming rounds the final chance for riders to capture national points before the last round in Launceston, followed by the 2022 AusCycling BMX National Championships.
Five state/territory series rounds also take place in August, with an opportunity to race on the 2022 AusCycling BMX National Championships track in Launceston on August 20 looming. The Cove BMX will be in action in South Australia on August 7, Terrigal BMX on the same day for the ACT/NSW series, Pine Rivers BMX on August 13 in Queensland, and Mildura BMX on August 14 in Victoria.
A smorgasbord of road racing events take place in August, ranging from state series to handicap classics. A few of the events on offer include the QRTS Battle on the Border on August 6-7, the Goulburn Great Divide Road Race on August 21, the 2022 Rob Vernon Memorial in Victoria, and the 2022 Lifecycle Classic p/b Shine Lawyers in Queensland.
