National Championships
Wagga Wagga will host the 2023 AusCycling Marathon National Championships on Saturday 27 & Sunday 28 May 2023. Event will showcase the best parts of Wagga Wagga. The course will take riders on a journey with a magnificent network of purpose-built trails and tracks whilst starting and finishing at the new multisport cycling complex at Pomingalarna Reserve.
The 2023 AusCycling Marathon National Championships will attract the very best elite and age group mountain bikers from across Australia. The event includes a range of different distances to cater for all riding abilities.

Athletes wishing to compete at the 2023 UCI XCM Masters World Championships (Dwellingup, WA - Sep 16 & 17) are not eligible to participate if they hold any UCI points (acquired in any discipline) or have been a member of a UCI registered team during the current season.
The 2023 AusCycling XCM National Championships are a UCI registered event and thus Elite categories are awarded UCI points.

Masters
4.1.009 All riders aged 35 or over who hold a masters licence are allowed to ride mountain bike events on the UCI international masters calendar, apart from:
1. riders who, during the current season starting January 1st, have scored 1 or more UCI points during the same calendar year as a UCI masters event;
2. riders who during the current year have been a member of a team registered with the UCI.
