The 2026 AusCycling National Cyclo-cross Championships head to Ballarat, Victoria, for a weekend of championship racing, community spirit and the unique atmosphere that makes cyclo-cross one of cycling's most exciting disciplines.
Hosted at Victoria Park in Newington, riders of all ages and abilities will tackle a predominantly new course for 2026, featuring approximately 2.5km of racing across 90% grass and 10% dirt terrain.
Whether you're chasing a national title, racing for personal goals or experiencing cyclo-cross for the first time, Ballarat will provide an unforgettable weekend of competition both on and off the bike.

Continue the action with Round 7 of the AusCycling National Cyclo-cross Series, bringing together riders from across the country for another day of high-energy racing.
Course Information
The 2026 National Championships course will be predominantly new for this year's event.
Riders can expect a course of approximately 2.5 kilometres in length, consisting of around 90% grass and 10% dirt, delivering the technical challenges, fast racing and exciting spectator viewing that define cyclo-cross.
The Technical Guide and provisional course maps will be published soon.
Location
The 2026 AusCycling National Cyclo-cross Championships will be held at Victoria Park, a 130-hectare inner-city parkland located in Newington, just west of Ballarat Central and approximately one kilometre south of the Ballarat Botanical Gardens.
The expansive venue provides an ideal setting for cyclo-cross, offering excellent spectator viewing opportunities and a challenging course for riders across all categories.

Spectators welcome

In true Cyclo-cross tradition, CX Ballarat will feature coffee, beers, frites and beats, creating the festival-like environment that has made Cyclo-cross one of the world's most-loved cycling disciplines.
Spectator entry is free, making it the perfect winter weekend activity for family, friends and cycling fans alike.
And being winter in Ballarat, we might even see a little snow.
