New South Wales’ Only Indoor Cycling Venue 

Dunc Gray Velodrome (DGV), named after Australian cycling legend Edgar "Dunc" Gray, is the only indoor velodrome in New South Wales. Opened in 1999 for the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games, it's a historic venue that witnessed unforgettable moments like the gold medal win by Brett Aitken and Scott McGrory in the Madison. The track itself is a 250-metre timber masterpiece made of Baltic pine, boasting a maximum banking of 42 degrees. 

Bookings 

Closed bookings are available for AusCycling affiliated clubs and members daily between 8:30am and 5:00pm. Here's what you need to know: 

  • Session Duration: 4 hours, with potential adjustments for shorter bookings.  
  • Minimum group size: 8 riders  
  • Qualified Personnel: All groups must have a representative with a current AusCycling Coaching Accreditation and Current First-Aid Qualification. AusCycling can arrange for a First Aider to be present with 1 weeks’ notice. 
  • Membership Requirement: All participating riders must hold a valid AusCycling membership (Race or Lifestyle). Sign-in is mandatory for all riders at the session start.

Please allow at least 5 working days for a response. All bookings are subject to existing closures and high performance group training schedules. Cancellation made less than 48 hours prior to the session will be charged $50.
