International riders may also participate if they have a current UCI License from a recognised National Federation.

A rider is only eligible for the title of State/Territory Champion in one State/Territory based on their primary club (based on the State/Territory to which the Primary Club is allocated).

Where a rider from outside of the State/Territory participates and finishes first - they will be ineligible to receive the Jersey, with the first placed individual from that State/Territory awarded with the Jersey (applicable to Superclass, Junior Superclass and 30+ Open Wheel only).

BMX State & Territory Championship events are open to any rider however, only riders from a primary club situated or allocated within the State/Territory holding the event will receive National Cup series points for that State/Territory.

Based on the feedback received from the 2021 BMX State/Territory Championships, riders wanted more from the prizing provided. As such the entry fees have been increased with the money from the increase going directly into the prizing being issued.
