TOKYO OLYMPIC STARS FINAL RIDE IN ADELAIDE BEFORE BRISBANE TEAM CAMP

Jun 2, 2021

Australia's Women's Track Endurance squad will contest one final race in Adelaide this Friday night before heading to Brisbane to finalise preparations for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games!

Ashlee Ankudinoff, Georgia Baker, Annette Edmondson, Alex Manly and Maeve Plouffe, who will line up for the Australian Olympic Team on the track at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games in August, will take to the boards in the Adelaide Track League on Friday night at 6.30pm.

The quintet will contest the Scratch Race in the middle of the program and then contest the headliner of the night – the Eliminator (a modified Elimination race) - as their final race in Adelaide, the home of the Australian Cycling Team Headquarters.

After the race, the men's and women's endurance squads will pack their bags and head to Brisbane where they will join the sprint squad for the final preparations before departing Australian shores for Japan in mid July.
