Selection timeline update: 2025 UCI BMX Racing World Championships

AusCycling is advising of a minor update to the athlete notification date and appeal window period regarding the ARA Australian Cycling Team for the 2025 UCI BMX Racing World Championships in Copenhagen, Denmark this August.

The updated selection timeline is as follows:

• Athlete notification: June 25 (previously June 23)
• Appeal window closes: June 27 (previously June 25)
• Week of appeal hearings: June 30 (no change to original timeline)
• Team announcement: Week of July 7 (no change to original timeline)

The updated timeline allows Australian athletes currently competing in the first four rounds of the 2025 UCI BMX Racing World Cup in Sarrians, France and Papendal, Netherlands to return home before being notified.

The week of appeal hearings and team announcement week remain unchanged.
