The record popularity and success of our calendar's flagship event have led to a competitive process for 2027 host rights.
This process is set to be finalised in the coming weeks, followed by an October announcement.
Dale Percy, AusCycling’s Head of Events for BMX, said "our number one commitment is maintaining and building on the high standards our members and community are accustomed to at a National Championships".
"For this reason alone, we've explored the feasibilities of multiple host locations that are passionate about the positive impact Nationals offer," Percy said.
"We're very close to putting pen to paper on agreements with our partners for 2027 and fast-tracking that process to enable our community to plan accordingly for April.

"We've worked hard over recent seasons to publish our calendar earlier and earlier. Ideally, we would be in a position now to announce our host for Nationals, but it's a competitive process that has been further impacted by our hosting of the 2026 UCI BMX Racing World Championships.
"Despite this, today we're delighted to unveil the bulk of our 2027 calendar for BMX racing and excited for another brilliant season ahead."
The details of the Oceania BMX Racing Championships will be announced in due course by the Oceania Cycling Confederation.
Northern Territory's season is also set for a follow-up announcement, with Top End clubs and AusCycling working together to confirm their local calendar in the coming months.
