Melbourne mums among Australians to win rainbows at Masters Track World Championships

Aussies bring home a total haul of 31 medals, including 10 gold.

Three mums from Victoria will return to Australia world champions after winning gold on debut in the women’s 35-44 Team Sprint at the 2025 UCI Masters Track World Championships in Roubaix, France.

Emma Jackson (Castlemaine CC), Genevieve Jordan (Brunswick CC) and Samantha Bradbury (St Kilda CC) are among 11 Australians to be crowned world champions, with Jordan also winning an individual title in the 50-54 Women’s Sprint.

While the trio have only been riding together for the event since May this year, as well as winning gold, they also set a new national record with a time of 55.329.

Jackson led from the front delivering the fastest opening lap in every round, with Jordan launching the team into the gold medal position on lap two and Bradbury anchoring the final lap and securing the win.

“It was a beautiful ride,” Bradbury said. “These girls set up something special, and I just had the honour of finishing it.”

The trio hope their win inspires other women to chase their dreams.
