2024/25 AusCycling track calendar released

The 2024/25 AusCycling track calendar has been unveiled today, with racing opportunities on offer at national, state and club levels across indoor and outdoor velodromes around Australia. 

The AusCycling TrackNats program returns to Anna Meares Velodrome in Brisbane for another year as part of the Brisbane Cycling Festival. 

Junior TrackNats rolls away first from March 22–26, with the final two days incorporating an overlapping schedule alongside AusCycling’s premier track event – the 2025 AusCycling Track National Championships, which will be raced from March 25–30. 

The 2025 AusCycling Para-cycling Track National Championships also return to Brisbane’s March TrackNats line-up in tandem with the elite and under-19 events. 

The 2025 AusCycling Masters Track National Championships wrap up the TrackNats season in Brisbane from April 7–10. 

Trans-Tasman battles at the 2025 Oceania Track Championships are back in Brisbane from February 11–15 after a year over the ditch in New Zealand. 

Four sizzling Melbourne summer days of track land in December as part of the Quest Ivanhoe 127th Austral Wheelrace event on Saturday, December 21. 

The popular event will also host the 2024 AusCycling Madison National Championships on Saturday, and the 2024 AusCycling Omnium National Championships on Friday, December 20. 

A UCI C1 sprint and UCI C2 omnium will also feature at DISC Velodrome. 

The 2024/25 Sharp EIT Junior Track Series hits the boards in November at Adelaide Super-Drome, with Round 2 to be held in Melbourne as part of the December Austral event. 

The series finale will be held in February at Sydney’s Dunc Gray Velodrome. 

Across the country, several historic events feature, including the TasCarnivals, Westral Wheelrace, Sydney 1000, Bundaberg Cycling Spectacular and Melbourne Cup on Wheels. 

A new addition to the 2024/25 track calendar is the Blackline Track Series for under-19 and under-23 riders. 

The new series will run from October to December across three rounds in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne.
