2023 Mountain Bike Calendar Released

AusCycling is excited to confirm the 2023 Mountain Bike Calendar which includes the National Championships, National and State events.
The National Series kicked off the season for downhill, while Canberra opens the cross-country account in the new year.
The National Series will be an ideal prelude to the 2023 AusCycling Mountain Bike National Championships which this year will be held at Thredbo in New South Wales.
As far as other major National events go, dates have already been locked in and released for the Marathon, Gravel, 24hr and Cyclo-cross championships as part of the 2023 AusCycling National Championships calendar.
2023 will also see the introduction of the Australian Slopestyle Tour with the first round to be held Mid July before heading to Kooralbyn in Queensland on the 17th September and Greenvalleys Mountain Bike Park for the third round in November.
Further events will continue to be added as Championship locations are able to be confirmed by host organisers. Clubs or organisers who are seeking to host a series are encouraged to contact us.
International Events
A huge international season will hit Australia’s shores across a variety of disciplines.
The Enduro World Series will land in Tasmania for two rounds at Maydena on 25th March and Derby on the 1st April.
The first of the UCI Gravel events hits Western Australia in May with SEVEN.
That month will also see Crankworx return to Far North Queensland with the Cairns round to he held from 17-21st May.
From the 14-17th September the Dwellingup will be the venue for the 2023 UCI Masters MTB Marathon World Championships.
On the final weekend of October Gravelista will return as part of the UCI Gravel World Series.
The Oceania Championships will be announced by the Oceania Cycling Federation shortly.
State and Territory Championships
A full season of Gravity Enduro State and Territory Championships will see Tasmania’s held mid-May, New South Wales in July and South Australia in October.
Queensland’s State titles go on the line in September in Rockhampton while Victoria's date is yet to be confirmed.
New South will be the first to host a downhill State Championship of the year on the 20th August at Greenvalleys Mountain Bike Park.
Inside Line will host the the South Australian edition on the first weekend of September, Queensland and WA will see their Champions determined on the same weekend in October while Victoria go one month later.
For cross-country races, Western Australia’s State Championships will be held in late August, while Queensland hold theirs on September 30 & October 1.
New South Wales XCO State Championships date is locked in for 14-15th October, while the South Australian XCO State Championships will be held later on November 12.
The ACT’s titles will be held in November at Mt Stromlo.
