2021 AusCycling Club Esports National Series

AusCycling is pleased to confirm the schedule for the 2021 AusCycling Club Esports National Series.

To be held on Zwift, the Series will feature four events on Tuesday evenings in July.

Entry is open to all who hold a current AusCycling Lifestyle or Race – All Discipline or Off-Road membership in either the U19, U23, Elite or Masters category.

The Series will be conducted as a Club competition where points scored by members in each round and each grade will be added together to create a Club leaderboard.

The Series is the third in the 2021 AusCycling Esports National Series after the Elite Teams and Junior Series commenced earlier in May.

Frequently Asked Questions

How will grading be completed?

Riders will be able enter their correct grade based on your FTP (Functional Threshold Power) and weight, shown as watts per kilogram, as follows:

  • A Grade: 4W/kg or higher

  • B Grade: 3.2W/kg - 3.99W/kg

  • C Grade: 2.5W/kg - 3.19W/kg

  • D Grade: 1W/kg - 2.49W/kg

Men and women races grades will be conducted at the same time.

How are series points calculated?

The following points will be awarded for race. All categories leader points are calculated by the addition of all points accumulated using the following tables.

All ties will be broken in the following manner:

o Most Wins by a Club

o If still tied, then number of top 5 results by a or Club

o If still tied then there will be two winners/leaders.

Club points will be an accumulation of all points scored by members based on their primary club.

Who is eligible for Series Points?

Only riders who are a registered with an AusCycling affiliated club team that has registered for the series.

Will there be any prizing?

We will have random prizes each week but no series prizes. Series winners will be celebrated.
