Cable Beach is world famous and for good reason. It boasts white sands, massive 10 metre tides, red pindan cliffs, warm waters, killer sunsets, iconic camel rides and even dinosaur prints.
Now it hosts Australia's only beach cycling event - the AusCycling Fat Bike National Championships.
If you're rolling larger than 3.8" (97 mm), you could be Australia's next Fat Nat Champ.

Licence Requirements
AusCycling will provide insurance to the event organiser and the participants, including Public Liability (for the event organiser and the participants), Professional Indemnity, and Personal Accident Insurance.
National Championship Categories
- Elite Men & Elite Women (19+ years)
- Under 15 Men & Women (11-14 years)
- Junior Men & Junior Women (15-18 years)
- Masters 1/2 Men & Women (30-39 years)
- Masters 3/4 Men & Women (40-49 years)
- Masters 5/6 Men & Women (50-59 years)
- Masters 7/8 Men & Women (60+years)
Some categories may be combined depending on entry numbers
Prizes and Awards
- National Champion jerseys will be awarded to the winners of the Elite Men & Elite Women categories.
- Medals will be awarded to the top 3 placegetters in the above National Championship categories
