The River 2 Reef Ride was established in 2011 by Evan Corry of Mackay’s Corry Cycles. Evan established the event as a charity ride with the vision of promoting healthy active living in the region and supporting two key organisations: BMA CQ Rescue and Disabled Sport & Rec Mackay (DSRM). River 2 Reef Ride gained momentum and is now an iconic annual event in the Mackay region. The 2025 BMA River 2 Reef Ride is a Festival that will be held across two fantastic days 6-7 September. The festival starts with a Criterium Race hosted and sanctioned by the Mackay Cycling Club.
