2027 South Coast Junior Tour

The 2027 South Coast Junior Tour comes to McLaren Flat and the Southern Vales region of South Australia’s Fleurieu Peninsula on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 July 2027.

Hosted by South Coast Cycling Club, the tour brings junior riders together for competition among the region’s vineyards. The tour unfolds in the Southern Vales region, sending riders through a scenic and testing layout amongst the world-famous vineyards of McLaren Flat and McLaren Vale.

The event features racing as part of both the 2027 BikeChain J19 National Road Series and South Australian Junior Road Series. U15, U17 and U19 riders compete across four stages over two days, while U13 riders race two stages on Saturday 3 July.

The event features tailored multi-stage formats to test the endurance, speed, and tactics of multiple age brackets:

• Under 15, Under 17, & Under 19: Compete across a comprehensive four-stage tour split over two full days of racing.
• Under 13: Take on a targeted two-stage schedule packed entirely into Saturday's program

Put your preparation into practice, develop your race tactics and test your consistency across the tour. With the Fleurieu Peninsula as your backdrop, make a weekend of racing with the junior cycling community.

Entries for this event will open in June 2027.
