2024 AusCycling NSW/ACT Gravity Series

Round 4 - Del Rio 

Round 4 of the 2024 AusCycling NSW/ACT Gravity Series is heading to Del Rio.

Get your entry in for Round 4 and prepare yourself for a massive weekend of racing.

Age Categories & Eligibility

Under 13, Under 15, Under 17, Under 19, Expert, Elite,Veteran, Masters, Super Masters, E Bike Veteran, E Bike Elite, E Bike Masters.

All entrants must hold a current, valid Race All Discipline Membership, Race Off Road Membership or 7-day Event Licence.

This event is not open to temporary or recreational membership holders.

Attention E-Bikes

If you have booked accommodation, you will have received a text about the venue's E-bike policy.

The WSMTB team have spoken to the venue and there will be no issue with you using your E-bike during the race but to respect the venue's policy can they are politely asking that when you are riding through the village and any area not part of the race track you turn your power off and that you aren't using the pedal assist function.

Practice Shuttles

A shuttle bus will be available on the Saturday from 8am with the last shuttle leaving at 4pm for practice. 

Shuttle tickets will be available as follows

4h - AM - $60

4h - PM - $60

8h - All day $120

The use of private vehicles for shuttling is not permitted.

Safety Regulations

Full-face helmets are mandatory at all AusCycling-sanctioned events. A jersey or shirt covering the elbows must be worn as a minimum. 3/4 length jerseys are acceptable. Knees must be covered by full-length trousers and/or self-fastening knee or knee/shin guards expressly designed for off-road competition.

For all riders who are eligible to compete in the Under 13, 15, and Under 17 categories, the following equipment is mandatory at all times while on track regardless of registered category:

• Full-finger gloves must be worn.

• Full-length jersey – jersey must cover elbows at all times.

• Knee pads and elbow pads must be worn.

AusCycling strongly recommends the use of the following for all competitors:

• Neck brace expressly designed for off-road competition.

• Back and shoulder protection expressly designed for the purpose.

• Full finger gloves.

• Elbow protectors and/or long sleeve jersey to the wrist.

• Goggles that are expressly designed for the purpose

6pm - 7:30pm Registrations and Plate Collection.

July 27th

Please note all riders must display their race plate during practice.

7am - 8am - Registration

8am - 4pm - Official Practice

8am - 12pm - Shuttle Session 1

11am - 12pm - Registration

12pm - 4pm Shuttle Session 2

6pm - 7:30pm - Registration

July 28th - Race Day

7am - 10am - Registrations & Chip collection*

8:30am - Riders Briefing (compulsory)

9am - 3pm - Racing

3:30pm - Presentation for all categories

*Chips will be available to individual riders 30 minutes prior to their start time
